Today we are gonna learn the end of our story and many words and phrases together.

Hadi başlayalım!

Melih köşedeki eski bir sandalyeyi aldı ve kitabın karşısına oturdu. Kitabın ilk sayfasını çekinerek açtı. Kitabın sayfaları hızla hareket etmeye başladı. Ve sonunda ilk sayfada durdu. Melih sesi titreyerek okumaya başladı:

Adın Melih. Bunu biliyorum. Seni zaten uzun zamandır bekliyordum. Korktuğunu ve tedirgin olduğunu biliyorum. Lütfen endişelenme. Sana kötülüğüm dokunmaz.

Melih biraz rahatladı. Derin bir nefes aldı. Ve okumaya devam etti.

Beni sadece, gerçekten ihtiyacı olanlar bulabilir. Ve kafan karışık, biliyorum. Bugün evden çıkarken canın çok sıkkındı. Konuşmak ve dertleşmek istedin ama hiç kimseyi bulamadın. Zaten sorun da buydu, “hiç kimseyi bulamamak” değil mi?

Melih “Evet! evet doğru” dedi heyecanla. Bir anda, bir kitapla konuştuğunu fark ederek, rüyada olduğunu düşündü. Ağzı açık, öylece bakakaldı. Ne diyeceğini, ne yapacağını bilmiyordu. Okumaya devam etti:

Biliyor musun? Bu konuda yalnız değilsin. Aslında insanların çoğu, konuşacak, dertleşecek birini bulmakta zorlanıyorlar. Kafa dengi bir arkadaş bulmak kolay bir şey değil. Bazı insanlar bu konuda çok şanslı oluyorlar. Bazıları ise diğerlerine göre, iyi bir arkadaşı daha geç buluyorlar. Fakat sabırlı olmalısın. Dünyada milyarlarca insan var ve elbette birileri senin en sevdiğin, en iyi anlaştığın arkadaşların olacaklar.

Melih hep şaşkın hem de mutluydu. Hala ne diyeceğini bilmiyordu ama çok iyi hissediyordu. Okumaya devam etti.

Eğer gelecekte bulacağın, değiştirebileceğin şeyler varsa, bunlar için her zaman umutlu olmalısın. Bu sayfalarla, geçmişte kalan ve değiştiremeyeceği şeyler yapan çok insanla konuştum. Onlar için bile umut her zaman var, gelecek her zaman sürprizlerle dolu! Sabırlı ol ve yaşa, öğren, insanları tanı, kitap oku, yeni hikayeler öğren ve kendi hikayelerini insanlara anlat.

Melih gülümsüyordu. Hiçbir şey yapmadan oturdu ve uzun uzun kitaba baktı. “Sanırım artık ne diyeceğimi biliyorum” diye düşündü. Kitabın yanında duran kalemi aldı. Kitaba yaklaştı. Kitabın son sayfasını açtı ve şöyle yazdı:

“Melih hayatı boyunca hiçbir konuda umudunu yitirmedi.” Kitabı kapattı.

“Teşekkür ederim.” dedi sessizce. Kalktı ve odadan çıktı. Yağmur durmuştu. Bulutların arkasından güneş çıkmaya başlamıştı. Melih derin bir nefes aldı ve yoluna devam etti.

Today we are gonna learn the end of our story and many words and phrases together. Let's start!

Melih took an old chair from the corner and sat in front of the book. Pulling the first page of the book, he opened it with a tug. The pages of the book started to move rapidly. And finally, it stopped on the first page. Melih began to read with a trembling voice:

"Your name is Melih. I know this. I've been waiting for you for a long time. I know you're scared and nervous. Please don't worry. I won't harm you."

Melih felt a bit relieved. He took a deep breath. And continued reading.

"You can only find me if you really need me. And I know your mind is confused. You were very upset when you left home today. You wanted to talk and share, but you couldn't find anyone. That was the problem, 'not finding anyone,' right?"

Melih exclaimed, "Yes! Yes, that's right," excitedly. Suddenly, realizing he was talking to a book, he thought he must be in a dream. Mouth open, he just stared. He didn't know what to say or do. He continued reading:

"Do you know? You are not alone in this matter. In fact, most people struggle to find someone to talk to, to share their feelings. Finding a like-minded friend is not an easy thing. Some people are very lucky in this regard, while others find a good friend later than others. But you must be patient. There are billions of people in the world, and surely, there will be those who will be your favorite and best friends."

Melih was both amazed and happy. He still didn't know what to say, but he felt very good. He continued reading.

"If there are things in the future that you can change, you should always be hopeful for them. Through these pages, I've talked to many people who have left things in the past and can't change them. There is always hope for them, and the future is always full of surprises! Be patient, live, learn, get to know people, read books, learn new stories, and tell your own stories to people."

Melih was smiling. Without doing anything, he sat there and looked at the book for a long time. "I think I know what to say now," he thought. He took the pen next to the book. He approached the book, opened its last page, and wrote:

"Melih never lost hope in his life." He closed the book.

"Thank you," he said quietly. He stood up and left the room. The rain had stopped. The sun was starting to come out from behind the clouds. Melih took a deep breath and continued on his way.
